Accomplished local choreographer Jordan Woods says, "Musical Theater Dance is all about versatility. The ability to use any style from the hip hop of Hamilton, the ballet of West Side Story, to the Swing from Bandstand to tell the most compelling story. When I watch a musical theater dance I’m looking for a point of view, a human connection, and a splash of drama." In this class expect a little improv, a group warm up, an across the floor exercise, and a group combination. Comfortable athletic wear and jazz shoes are encouraged.
Class will take place in the dance studio on the first floor of the Metropolitan Artist Lofts located at 500 N. Grand, STL. (Grand Center across from the Fox Theater.)
